Our Black Label coffee offerings are micro-roasted in the smallest batches we are capable of to ensure the highest care for this limited release crop. This coffee from Cumbres Del Poas in Costa Rica is not only grown with care but then treated afterwards to allow the fruit of the cherry to further flavor the final product creating a more nuanced coffee. This is known as a red honey process. Red Honey Processed coffees are dried with the mucilage of the coffee cherry remaining on the encasing seed for two to three weeks, usually on overcast days or in the shade. Coffee cherries are picked, sorted, depulped, and then moved to drying patios or beds for various periods of time. We pride ourselves in our abilities to roast quality offerings to their fullest potential and hope you will make time to savor this coffee and share with friends.
