Costa Rica Finca Sircof

GRAPEFRUIT · LEMON · SWEET MALT

Grown at high elevations in Costa Rica’s Central Valley, this coffee is harvested and processed immediately at the farm’s micro mill. A honey process enhances its natural sweetness before we carefully roast it in small batches here in Gainesville, Florida, to highlight its vibrant acidity and layered sweetness. This perfect cup of coffee has bright notes of grapefruit and lemon, balanced by a smooth, sweet malt finish.

Price range: $23.00 through $130.00

The coffee from Marco Oviedo’s Finca Sircof reflects a harmonious balance between sustainable farming and a thriving natural environment. Grown at the high elevations of Costa Rica’s Central Valley coffee region, the coffee plants benefit from a mild climate, rich biodiversity, and protective bordering forests. Marco’s ingenuity is also key: realizing the farm could not survive using the methods of previous generations, Marco and his wife built a micro mill to give them the ability to immediately process the picked cherries. This greater control over processing, in addition to carefully selecting only perfectly ripe Arabica cherries, consistently produces an exceptional, high-quality cup of coffee.
