Grown in the rich volcanic soils of the Guji zone in Ethiopia’s Sidamo region, these heritage beans are often grown interspersed with food crops on small family farms, creating a stable and sustainable model of community. Coffee grown in Guji was once classified as Sidamo, but now is recognized for its distinctive profile and attributes. Beans are sold to local cooperative washing stations and naturally processed in raised beds.
