Grown in the Naranjo and Alajuela regions of Costa Rica on a family-owned farm run by farmer Kathia Zamora, it is honey processed and medium-light roasted to play up the floral and apricot sweetness.

    Product Description

    Cloza Estate is a 4th-generation family farming and micro mill operation located in the Naranjo and Alajuela regions. Since 1970, it has been producing microlots in three family plots. Kathia Zamora has managed the farm (under the watchful eye of her parents) since 2001, planting new varieties and updating facilities and processing techniques. She is passionate about honoring her legacy while looking toward the future. As the young mother of two boys, Kathia wants to ensure that her kids fall in love with coffee from a young age, just as she did. In addition, she remains committed to empowering women in the coffee industry via her position on the Board of the IWCA (International Women Coffee Alliance) and represented by the Women Care Certification the farm has received.
