A promise of a new day with your morning cup of coffee. The beans in our Panama Boquete Finca are from a promising young farm, Bajo Mono Estate. This coffee is medium roasted to bring out notes of black currant and shortbread.
Bajo Mono Estate is a fairly young farm with coffee trees just entering their more productive years with promising potential. Perfectly situated for a coffee farm. Boquete is a valley on the eastern side of Volcan Baru (the highest in Panama). The valley floor is about 1,000 meters above sea level, and most of the coffee is grown on the slopes surrounding the valley, going up towards the volcano and into the central cordillera (north & east side of the valley). Coffee is grown in some areas above 1650 meters. Bajo Mono goes from 1350 up to 1650 masl.
